At DraftKings, according to this post on X: “The Tyson vs. Paul fight shattered records, becoming the most bet boxing match of all time on DraftKings Sportsbook with 3.5x more bets handle than the previous record-holder, Gervonta Davis vs. Ryan Garcia.”
DraftKings tells us that most bet props were on Tyson to win by KO/TKO/DQ, Paul to win by KO/TKO/DQ, and Tyson to Win in Round 1.
Marketing ConAccording to Terry Dugan a vice president at BetRivers, “The Jake Paul versus Mike Tyson bout was the most wagered-on (money) and second most popular (tickets) boxing match in the history of BetRivers Online Sportsbook. BetRivers took more money on Jake Paul versus Mike Tyson as it did on the next four most wagered-on bouts of 2024 combined.”

In terms of handle comparison, the fight would be on par with an NFL Monday Night game. We knew there would be tremendous interest in the fight, as the betting suggested it was a generational matchup in customer demographics. Those old enough to remember a prime Mike Tyson got to live the nostalgia one last time, while those not old enough to know Iron Mike were firmly on the Jake Paul side of the counter.”
It s tough to get perspective on Tyson s drawing power on the betting front since his heyday in the ring came long before sports betting beyond Nevada was declared legal in 2018. Despite being at +180, Tyson generated 67% of tickets and 53% of the handle .
